I have been a Mazda girl for more years than I can remember. I am what you would say true blue to my Mazda's, but will never go to another dealership other than Capitol Mazda. Each buying experience has been pain free with courtesy and respect. Their service department is honest treating me at all times likes a valued customer. Their commitment to quality, fair pricing, and service on time is beyond par.
Phil was our salesman and he was great! Not pushy, open to questions, and knowledgeable. As a first time car buyer (first time buying it on my own at least) I felt like I had some dumb questions but Phil was patient and willing to answer anything. Even patient when I had to spend 30 mins in line at Wells Fargo just so I could buy a check! Frederic handled the financing and was friendly and helpful. We got in and out in no time. The only downside was the detailing people definitely rushed through cleaning. Phil opened up the middle console and discovered opened candy and other leftover trash. Some other small areas were missed as well but after spending all day there I didn't feel like letting them go back at it when I could just go home and clean it.
Very friendly staff got to test drive and do some donuts on the 2019 Miata.
After having such a positive and professional correspondence with Gene Johnson from your dealership in San Jose, I drove all the way from Sacramento (where I live) because I was so impressed with the customer service I received over email and phone ahead of time. Last weekend, my Dad and I met with Gene at the dealership and it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. No constantly turning me over to the next employee (like I've experienced at other dealerships), we met with Gene the entire time, and no pushiness trying to get a deal made. Gene was so warm, kind and respectful and listened to what I wanted and treated my dad and me with nothing but respect. He also had a great sense of humor, which made what can sometimes be a stressful time for a car buyer, fun and lighthearted. Towards the end of the day, we also met with Stephen Fields (Finance Director), to sign all of my paperwork. Stephen was also super warm and friendly with great customer service and sense of humor. I appreciate the wonderful customer service I received from Gene and Stephen at your dealership. It made it well worth the over two hour drive from Sacramento!
